Created as part of the Undiscovered Voices challenge, my Toad of Toad Hall silent comic retells a famous scene from the classic Wind In The Willows tale.

In an attempt to break out  of prison after being found guilty of reckless driving, Toad tries to convince the washer woman’s daughter to lend him a disguise. Reluctantly, she allows him to try on the outfits she has in her basket, which are not all as inconspicuous as they could be…

Each panel was created on an individual A4 sheet of Bristol board. All nine originals were first exhibited at Wimbledon Comic Art Festival.
